Charles Negromonte competes at the very top of the sport — and wins. His recent record: the ADCC Brazil Trials title (2024, 88kg), gold at the 2023 Brasileiro No-Gi, and the Abu Dhabi World Pro "King of Mats" crown, beating André Galvão on the way. A 3rd degree black belt under Zé Radiola, he sharpened his game with Braulio Estima before taking up residency with the Roger Gracie Academy team in London.
Charles's Jiu-Jitsu is defined by a ruthless grasp of fundamentals — knowing how to win the "mini battles" found inside each position. Heavy pressure passing from the top, a game defined by control, and a stand-up arsenal built with dedicated wrestling coaches.
His coaching mirrors his game: he breaks the nuances of Jiu-Jitsu into step-by-step objectives. Whether it's holding side control or mount, he solves the position with one focus — control. Off the mats: football and travelling.
